The last piece of camp content I will write this summer ends with one of my favorite positions to evaluate, the boys in the offensive trenches that keep the offensive train running always, as we focus on the hog mollies that caught these eyes and got logged into my notebook for their skillsets at the Northern State Camp in Aberdeen. I'll tell you what I like about this group, the mix of the undersized offenisve linemen that are tough as nails and play bigger than their measurables with their work ethic, attention to detail, and more. Plus, the more XL type offensive linemen that bring the obvious size, big hands, upside, and more. We saw so long to 2025 camp season with this one!

[player_tooltip player_id='1575966' first='Ziah' last='Torpy'], Spearfish, SD 2027 Twitter

Ziah might not your size prototype as of yet that you look for at the next-level, but this kid showed off some promising upside in th reps I watched in Aberdeen. I thought he appeared better than I was expecting in pass-pro reps. Where he caught my attention to blend in with the group so well was with his footwork, which showed off fluidity and very balanced steps which allowed Ziah to set his base with the power he had generated with his power body. If you are just looking for that tough offenisive linemen that is under 5'9 yet is sturdy and has good hands to boot, Ziah could be one to know in the 2027 class out of Spearfish.

Ian Voyles, Belle Fourche, SD 2027 Twitter

Some of the most relentless hands that I watched in the offensive line group at the Northern State prospect camp came from out West, as Belle Fourche 2027 Ian Voyles was one that caught my attention in the trenches. Not only did Ian show off the skillsets I wanted to see with his hands, there was also good development in his lower body. The 6'0 250 pounder moved fluidly and was more agile with his footwork and footspeed as you can surely see the growth from his sophomore season. Ian is one two Broncs hog mollies that cracked our list in Aberdeen to know.

[player_tooltip player_id='1617933' first='Cordin' last='Caudell'], Huron, SD 2027 Twitter

If you didn't get to watch Cordin during 1v1s at the Northern State prospect camp, I am convinced you must have been asleep because he logged a lot of them back to back to back. You want to talk about a young man that had the best work ethic amongst nearly 160 athletes last Friday? That was Cordin by a mile. What else encouraged me in Cordin's live eval was how well this young man finished his blocks as that was consistesnt throughout ever rep I watched of Cordin's. This young man has empowering stamina that got better in my eyes rep after rep especially with the footwork as a pull-blocker out in space, as Cordin got downhill and developed better pad-level and hand placement the more reps I watched. You can't miss as a college coach liking this kid's character either as one that I feel all in all rose his stock the most in the Dakotas 2027 class in the OL group.

Emitt Lipp, Belle Fourche, SD 2026 Twitter

The other Broncos offensive linemen this time in the 2026 class that caught my attention in Aberdeen was trench monster Emmit Lipp. The first skillset that stood out for Emmit during the live eval was also with his hands, but different than his teammate. Emmit had a few reps I watched that required him to reset his hands and I was intrigued in regards to the leverage the 6'2 260 pounder was able to draw off those resets. Emitt also possesses sudden power with his hands off his first step as I didn't see one rep in Aberdeen were this young man was inconsistent with his pad-level or did not see his blue-collar work ethic not catch my attention. He holds one D2 offer from Black Hills State and surley looks like an ideal fit in the RMAC or NSIC.

[player_tooltip player_id='1626702' first='Edward' last='Witkiewicz'], Sun Prairie East, WI 2026 Twitter

The lone Wisconsin target that cracked my list at the Northern State prospect camp just so happens to come from my hometown of Sun Prairie (WI) which was Edward Wtikiewicz of SP East. I loved watching this young man's footwork in action for his size, as the 6'3 317 pounder also boosts a 6'5 wingspan which was evidently seen when you watched him any individual reps or 1v1 reps in Aberdeen. With that size referenced, I also was intrigued with the firm base that Edward brought during his reps, as you could tell how immovable he was for defensive linemen to attack due to the mix of skillsets he brought to the table from his footwork on up to his boulder like strength in his hands I saw all day. Edward in my eyes had the best pad-level and base in the entire offensive line group I watched. I have to admit it's very surprising that Northern was Edward's first D2 offer he's gotten so far, as I love the fit this kid could certainly be in the NSIC.

Jaxon Calvin, Fargo Davies, ND 2026 Twitter

One of the biggest offensive linemen we saw in Aberdeen also is one that I also feel has a big upside, which is Jaxon Calvin of Fargo Davies. The verified 6'4 350 pounder clearly had the strength to be a people mover which we saw in Aberdeen but has some development to brew up his base when setting his feet in position. I could tell during the later reps of Jaxon at camp, that he was starting to figure out how immovable he could become getting off his feet and getting in ideal position. He'll be one I'll have to track out of Fargo Davies this fall in this 2026 class to see how his development takes shape.
