Bess is a big time pickup for the Tigers transferring over from Pinole Valley in the Bay Area and will be one of the more dynamic weapons for Inderkum this season from the backfield or in the slot and return game. He is a fast and twitchy playmaker that can effect the game in all three phases and is a mismatch nightmare downfield while a natural ball carrier from the backfield with vision, body control and open field speed in the clear. He is fast and explosive off the ball, runs good routes and can quickly get in and out of his breaks while showing strong hands in traffic over the middle and can make plays from various body angles with tracking abilities over the top. Bess is also a dynamic returner that excels in space and will have a big time junior season and burst onto the Sacramento area prospect scene soon enough.

Bess recently transferred out of Pinole Valley and into Inderkum to play out his junior season where he brings an explosive skillset as a ball carrier, returner, and DB. 5’10” 175 lbs. he’s a weaving RB that thrives in traffic using vision, balance, and subtle movement to slice though defenses. Flashes great spatial awareness to feel defenders around him and navigate tight lanes naturally. Plus lateral agility, he makes hard cuts with quick controlled side to side movement while maintaining his speed. Like his creativity to find his own lane and adjust on the fly as he reads defensive flow. Holds an offer from Sacramento State and has plenty of upside and potential to build on.
