I also added five incoming freshman names I think our subscribers should be aware of. You’ll be hearing a lot more about these kids going forward. Please enjoy!
2024s
Wyatt Gilmore Wyatt Gilmore 6'4" | 250 lbs | DL Rogers | 2024 State MN (Rogers) RB/LB. 6’3, 210 lbs. @wyattgilmore9
Big name to keep an eye on who came into our May PrepRedzoneMN Showcase and blew the testing portion of the event out of the water as he measured in at 6’3, 204 pounds and recorded a 4.84 40, 4.47 short shuttle, 7.47 L-drill, and 9’1 broad. Those are good numbers for a freshman of any kind, much less a 6’3, 200+ lber., so when I got my eyes on his results I was ecstatic. He’s also the brother of 2021 St. John’s signee Tommy Gilmore. Although he’s lacking in film those numbers generally will translate to on-field success so I am very excited for Wyatt’s sophomore season and tape. Keep an eye out for the Rogers Royals tank!
Max Mogelson (Henry Sibley) 6’4, 245 lbs.
Starter and All-District as a freshman. About as promising of a 2024 prospect there is in the state of Minnesota currently and a prospect whose future I am very excited for. With excellent size already he also has an impressive freshman tape that caught my attention first for how hard he hits. He’s got a ton of pop that sent blockers backwards at initial contact and he possesses the strength to keep his body in a good position and not overextend or reach. I also think he’s got a good first step and shows some quickness/twitch to beat blockers without brute force, and he lays out when he makes a tackle and looks like he possesses some good body control for a kid of his size. The future is very bright for Mr. Mogelson!
Ty Burgoon (Centennial) ATH. 5’10, 145 lbs. @Gooner2820
Played varsity basketball as a freshman for Centennial this past season.
Langden College (Robbinsdale Armstrong) DE/OLB. 6’4, 195 lbs. @lcollege5
I believe he’s the younger brother of 2022 6’4, 190 lb. beast of a WR Kayden College Kayden College 6'4" | 195 lbs | WR Armstrong | 2022 State MN . Looked like the biggest kid on the field in his 2020 freshman tape and played safety at 6’4, 190+. Moves well and brings a lot of versatility to the Falcons squad as he continues to grow and develop.
Aiden Horel Aiden Horel 6'5" | 325 lbs | OL Prior Lake | 2024 State MN (Prior Lake) DL. 6’3, 260 lbs. @aiden_horel
Originally discovered by fellow PRzMN scout Nate Wahl, Horel’s freshman tape for the Lakers is very impressive as he was one of the biggest players on the field on his freshman squad tape and played with a ton of physicality and violence from both sides of the football. For a young 250+ lber. he really moves well at his size and has some get-up out of his stance and when he gets his legs going. He’s also a relentless and powerful blocker who overpowered every opponent he went against and he did not look like he belonged out there with his fellow freshman. He’ll be a big name to know coming out of one of 6A’s most competitive programs.
Drew Hendrickson (Prior Lake) OLB. 5’11, 180 lbs. @dhendrix500
Reports to bench 210 pounds, squat 335 pounds, and clean 225 pounds.
Oliver Mann (SMB) LB. 5’10, 180 lbs. @ginge07855039
In his one game of film on his Hudl Mann was all over the field from his LB spot and was productive in run support and a capable tackler, especially when unblocked.
Pierce Dols (MPLS Washburn) MLB/TE. 6’3, 185 lbs. @DolsPierce
Lacking in film as of right now.
Talan Williams (Robbinsdale Cooper) WR/S. 6’1 @TalanWilliams8
Does not have much film right now but has some good size at a program that produces stud playmakers.
Jordan Tornstrom (Caledonia) DE. @Jordan26920913
Heard from a source I trust inside the Caledonia program that this kid is a name to watch. If you were in my position you would be a fool to not keep track of young Caledonia up-and-comers.
Cody Packer (St. Thomas Academy) FB. 5’8, 195 lbs. @CodyPacker
Only has middle school film right now. I love me a fullback!
Merrick Woods (SMB) 6’1, 180 lbs.
Has been making some noise on the 7-on-7 circuit!
Victor Ruhland 5’9, 185 lbs. @VRuhland
Younger brother of stud Orono 2020 grad and UMD signee Nicholas Ruhland.
Jordan Johnson Jordan Johnson RB Prior Lake | 2018 State MN (Mounds View) WR. 6’, 165 lbs. @Jordan_JohnsonX
No film as of right now.
2025s
Mason King (Caledonia) @kingmasonj23
Fellow PRzMN scout Nate Wahl got to see the up-and-coming King hoop at a Prep Hoops Next event a couple of months ago and he was a standout from the tournament who obviously possesses the athleticism of his cousins.
Ethan Stendahl (Caledonia) QB.
JJ Longstreet (Delano)
Riley Grossman (Lakeville North)
Charlie Twistol (Edina) 5’11, 200 lbs. @TwistolCharlie
