- Jones is the kind of talent that has elite written all over him and he is far from a finished product. After playing both ways for the Red Devils this coming season, Jones will be taking his talents to Ann Arbor to play defensive back in the Wolverines secondary.
* Committed to Michigan *
‘22 (S) [player_tooltip player_id="101999" first="Anthony" last="Brown"] (6'2 195) - Milan (DB Rank: 2 State Rank: 11)
- A gamer that plays strong in big moments, Brown is another two-way talent for his high school team but will be headed to the Power Five level as a safety. He has yet to make his college decision but things are leaning towards Brown choosing to play in the SEC with Arkansas.
‘22 (CB/S) [player_tooltip player_id="101996" first="Jaylen" last="Lewis"] (6'2 175) - Haywood (DB Rank: 3 State Rank: 15)

* Committed to Arkansas *
‘22 (CB) [player_tooltip player_id="102034" first="James" last="Reed III"] (6'0 180) - Father Ryan (DB Rank: 4 State Rank: 24)
- This Nashville area cover corner is poised for a big senior season, especially missing out on his junior year due to injury. * Committed to Arkansas St. *
‘22 (CB/S) [player_tooltip player_id="101981" first="Myles" last="Pollard"] (6'2 185) - Ravenwood (DB Rank: 5 State Rank: 25)
- This Raptors big and versatile defensive back really took a strong progression with his game during his junior season which in turn has now led him to be a commitment of Michigan. Pollard shows traits to play cornerback but translates best in college at safety.
* Committed to Michigan *
‘22 (S) [player_tooltip player_id="102018" first="D.J." last="Burks"] (6'0 190) - Maryville (DB Rank: 6 State Rank: 27)
- The Mountaineers of App State landed a steal here with Burks as he has the talent to step onto campus next Fall and immediately compete for playing time. The Rebels star defensive back is smart, physical and has a nose for the football. Burks is as steady as you will find in the 2022 class.
* Committed to Appalachian St. *
‘22 (CB/S) [player_tooltip player_id="101979" first="Tyler" last="Woodard"] (6'2 180) - Freedom Prep (DB Rank: 7 State Rank: 28)
- Woodard is excited to play his senior year after his team had to miss out on the 2020 season and show why he is a current commit of Miss. State. Tall and long with a big radius, Woodard is a potential filled prospect that could play corner or safety on the collegiate level.
* Committed to Mississippi St. *
‘22 (S) [player_tooltip player_id="101997" first="Reco" last="Trimble"] (6'1 180) - Red Bank (DB Rank: 8 State Rank: 32)
- This is a talented football player that remains available and whoever lands Trimble will be getting a steal! The Lions star two-way talent was having a strong junior year before an injury derailed his season. If that had not happened, Trimble would either be committed or sport more than 20 Power Five offers. Watch out for this guy over the coming months.
‘22 (S) [player_tooltip player_id="101977" first="Taylor" last="Groves"] (6'2 185) - East Robertson (DB Rank: 9 State Rank: 34)
- A new commit to the Rebels, Groves has been a name on the recruiting scene for a long time now and is headed into his final year of high school ball before taking his talents to the SEC. Groves has the size, length and athletic traits to succeed but he must fully embrace playing safety to further his career.
* Committed to Ole Miss *
‘22 (CB/S) [player_tooltip player_id="102008" first="Kenzy" last="Paul"] (6'1 185) - McCallie (DB Rank: 10 State Rank: 36)
- A native of Canada, Paul burst onto the scene last Fall and quickly became a top name to watch. * Committed to Vanderbilt *
‘22 (CB/S) [player_tooltip player_id="101988" first="Mikeece" last="Jones"] (6'0 185) - Hillsboro (DB Rank: 11 State Rank: 40)
- Jones has been on the recruiting scene for several years now as a versatile defender that could be plugged into multiple roles within the secondary. ‘22 (S) [player_tooltip player_id="102079" first="Roland" last="McGhee"] (6'1 185) - Ensworth (DB Rank: 12 State Rank: 44)
- This is one of the biggest risers of anyone from the 2022 class as McGhee has gone from unknown to a Toledo commit and one the more versatile, athletic DB's that we have in this state. A track star with big time speed, McGhee is not only high quality on the field but high character off the field as well.
* Committed to Toledo *
‘22 (CB/S) [player_tooltip player_id="102020" first="Alex" last="Ford"] (6'0 180) - Father Ryan (DB Rank: 13 State Rank: 49)
- Ford joins alongside Reed at Father Ryan to form possibly the most formidable DB duo in the entire state but he still is looking for a college home. Ford is a well built young man that has a lot of position versatility. He holds several FCS offers but is holding out for those D1, P5 schools to come calling.
‘22 (CB/S) [player_tooltip player_id="102112" first="LaMarion" last="Pierce"] (6'0 175) - Marshall Co. (DB Rank: 14 State Rank: 51)
- A one time hidden gem, Pierce is no longer unknown as this offseason he worked and earned his status as one of the more athletic cornerbacks in this state. His strong offseason led Pierce to earning several D1 & FCS offers but he remains available, hoping a big senior year leads to more interest.
‘22 (NB/S) [player_tooltip player_id="102024" first="A.G." last="McGhee"] (5'11 185) - Oakland (DB Rank: 15 State Rank: 55)
- A feisty, aggressive ball hawk with position versatility, McGhee is a guy you want on your defense because his motor never stops. This Murfreesboro native could very well push himself with a strong senior season out of his commitment to Marshall and into bigger opportunities.
* Committed to Marshall *
‘22 (NB/S) Charles Ingram IV (5'11 180) - Ensworth (DB Rank: 16 State Rank: 57)
- Ingram is a multi talented, versatile prospect that could play RB in college (he plans to play there this year) but translates best in the secondary. ‘22 (CB/S) [player_tooltip player_id="153038" first="Kaleb" last="Almo"] (6'1 190) - P.U.R.E. Academy (DB Rank: 17 State Rank: 59)
- Almo made a smart decision by reclassifying and making the move to PURE for the 2021 season. That move has already paid off by Almo receiving several offers, including a few from the D1 level. This is a big and aggressive DB that can play corner or safety on the collegiate level.
‘22 (S) [player_tooltip player_id="102065" first="Jeremiah" last="Jordan"] (6'1 190) - Cordova (DB Rank: 18 State Rank: 61)
- Jordan is a talented prospect that finally saw his work go noticed this offseason by performing well during camps and eventually earning several college offers. ‘22 (S) [player_tooltip player_id="102125" first="Dylan" last="King"] (6'3 185) - Oakland (DB Rank: 19 State Rank: 65)

He holds a few offers currently, a few from the D1 ranks but King has yet to see those big offers come his way. A big senior season could definitely change that.
‘22 (CB/S) [player_tooltip player_id="102087" first="Javis" last="Mynatt"] (6'0 175) - Knox. Catholic (DB Rank: 20 State Rank: 71)

‘22 (CB/S) [player_tooltip player_id="102041" first="JaQuez" last="Bradley"] (6'2 180) - Whitehaven (DB Rank: 21 State Rank: 77)
- Bradley is one defensive back that I am excited to watch this year, especially after not being able to play his junior season. ‘22 (CB/S) [player_tooltip player_id="102037" first="Isaac" last="Rollins"] (5'11 185) - Ravenwood (DB Rank: 22 State Rank: 81)

‘22 (CB/S) [player_tooltip player_id="102066" first="Isaiah" last="Lang"] (6'2 175) - David Crockett (DB Rank: 24 State Rank: 87)
