Central Indiana Stars With League Potential

The Central Indiana area is loaded. There are some big-time players with league potential. We are looking at some of those players and what they can bring to their future programs. [player_tooltip player_id="39042" first="Joe" last="Strickland"] - Brebeuf Jesuit - DL - 6’4" 250 lbs Strickland is a real interior defensive lineman. He will live in the trenches in college. Expect him to build out his frame some. He’s huge and strong with great feet. He’s listed as a 4-star recruit and every Indiana school has called his name. Outsiders like Stanford and Penn State have also called and sent offers over. [player_tooltip player_id="97821" first="Ashton" last="Craig"] - Lawrenceburg - OT - 6’5" 283 lbs Craig is a tackle with great size and feet. He gets off the ball well and carries himself with great pride. He’s a 3-star recruit and is offered from every school you can imagine. Luckily for Craig, he’s got an offer from NFL OL machine Notre Dame. It’s widely speculated that he will become a Golden Domer. If he does, he has every opportunity to hit his full potential. [player_tooltip player_id="39055" first="Kenneth" last="Grant"] - Merrillville - DL - 6’4" 335 lbs Grant is a fully built run-stopping machine. He’s big and strong with great size. He’s nimble and has great upper-body strength. The 3-star recruit is being heavily recruited by every Big 10 school. Ohio State, Wisconsin, Michigan, and so on are knocking on his door. Wherever he goes, his potential goes beyond that school and I think all of those schools know it. [player_tooltip player_id="39051" first="Keylen" last="Davis"] - Ben Davis - OT - 6’4" 270 lbs Davis is a Tackle with a very powerful punch. He absolutely eats in the run game and blows guys off the line. He plays with a great motor and doesn’t give up on any plays. The 3-star recruit has offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, IU, and Kentucky. [player_tooltip player_id="98003" first="Jeffrey" last="Utzinger"] - Cathedral - LB - 6’2" 205 lbs Utzinger is a 2-star Outside Linebacker with a very high IQ. He is very lean and could really put some weight on. He likes to sit back and watch the QB eyes and make a play on the ball. He’s currently sitting on offers from Akron, Ball State, and Eastern Michigan.
