Expert Analysis
Michael Huntley | Prep Redzone Scout
Porter only played in three games last season for the Stallion but had six hurries and 12 tackles and had a monster sophomore season.
He’s aggressive at the point of attack and has great short-area quickness. Porter isn’t a guy you can leave unblocked on run plays away from him because he has the speed to make the play from the opposite side. He’s always a threat to bat the ball down and has good instincts defending screen passes.
Porter has had a great offseason picking up offers from Princeton, Yale, Northern Arizona, Army, Cornell and Air Force.

Recent Offers: Cornell, Army, NAU, Yale, Princeton
Notes: Porter is one of the more stout and balanced defensive ends across the state, and is extremely strong and powerful at the POA with heavy hands and some good twitch and pass rush abilities around the corner. He has been racking up offers and should continue gathering plenty of attention this off-season.
