Stewart-Caceres is rated as an offensive lineman but this article, I’ll focus on him as a defensive lineman. He is a defensive tackle who plays with strength, discipline, and effort. On one play, he shows power and quickness by slanting inside between the tackle and guard to make a tackle for loss. In his highlights, he consistently holds the edge on run plays. Stewart-Caceres sheds blocks effectively, fights through double teams, and maintains good containment without getting fooled by misdirection. His film, however, focuses mostly on run defense with limited pass-rush reps. Would like to see more of those types of plays, towards the beginning of his highlights, in his season-ending reel.
