Smith is a dynamic DB who is confident on his own out wide. You have to be confident to play corner at any level, but then you need the traits and IQ to be able to survive out there, and Smith does. He doesn’t bite on double moves and stays with his guy. He’ll play the ball well when it comes and isn’t afraid to be aggressive down the field. He knows how to use his frame when he’s near the sideline as well. There are little things Smith does that make me believe he’ll be successful on Saturdays. He’s currently committed to Toledo over Bowling Green, Buffalo, and Northern Illinois.
