His ability to make defenders miss in space is fantastic. He then has great speed and can outrun most defenders. On one long touchdown run, he rushed for a touchdown of over 90 yards. On that play, you saw the complete package: his vision, his burst, and his speed to make defenders miss. Greer is also a physical runner who is hard to bring down. He is certainly a great slot receiver, though. He does a good job after the catch by making defenders miss in space and gaining extra yards after the catch. An example of this type of play is when he caught wide receiver screen passes; he got behind his offensive line and made defenders miss. He is elusive and slippery to bring down in the open field, but he is also a good route runner with excellent hands. His ability to read his keys and come screaming towards the line of scrimmage is impressive. His ability to make tackles in or near the line of scrimmage is excellent. He also shows a good ability to drop into a pass defense. He knows how to read the quarterback's eyes and make the proper play on the ball thrown in his direction. In the Shippensburg wing-t offense, he is a good running back. His ability to read the play and then explode through the hole is impressive. He has great burst and quickness to make defenders miss. When he gets into a tight space with defenders, he has a knack for making them miss. Then, when he gets into the open field, he has the speed to rush past helpless defenders. He does a nice job of reading his keys and then triggering towards the line of scrimmage. He does a nice job of going through the wash, finding the ball carrier, and making the tackle. He also shows a good ability to play in space. When he plays in space, he knows how to read the offensive play and determine whether it is a run or a pass. He also shows a good ability to blitz off the edge.
