Mount St. Mary’s Malachi Hardiman Malachi Hardiman 6'3" | OL/DL Mount St. Mary | 2027 State OK is one of the more puzzling prospects in the state’s 2027 class to us. First off, just position-wise, he looks like a solid pick for either side of the line of scrimmage. In person and on film, we’ve seen Hardiman absolutely dominate on both sides of the line of scrimmage. It hasn’t mattered if it was on offense or defense, he’s performed incredibly well and he’s done it against solid competition. Hardiman looks like a prospect who should end up at the next level and at a high spot. We’re not quite sure what the hold up is from coaches to pull the trigger on a guy like Hardiman. He looks very similar to some of the other top guys at this position where the floor is so high that you’re not going to miss if you take him. He’s another guy that we’ll be seeing in person this spring and looking forward to seeing the growth over the last eight months.

Hardiman has the potential to be one of the top two-way linemen in Class 2A-1 this season. He checks a lot of boxes both from a physicality standpoint and his abilities. Just like with the rest of the team, he has to prove it on the field but we’re just saying that the ceiling is high. He had a really good spring and that momentum has continued into the summer. We’ll see if it carries over to the fall. 

Mount St. Mary offensive and defensive lineman Malachi Hardiman Malachi Hardiman 6'3" | OL/DL Mount St. Mary | 2027 State OK was a another prospect that we got our first chance to see during spring practice and immediately came away impressed. It didn’t take long while watching Hardiman to figure out that he belongs among the best of the best on the line of scrimmage. Now, it’s going to be interesting to see which side of the line of scrimmage he ends up on. Because we’ll be honest, we have him listed as an offensive lineman first here in this breakdown but we could easily see it being flipped. It really didn’t matter which side of the line of scrimmage he lines up on, he finds a way to get the job done and he’s routinely doing it at a high level. And we’ve heard that in the last few weeks, Hardiman has been tearing it up on the camp circuit and he has the potential to continue that momentum this fall.
