2026 Takeover- 5 Prospects Everyone Should Have Eyes On

Don't sleep just yet! We've got a late night takeover in store for yall this Thursday evening!   Tonight, we're watching 5 prospects in the 2026 class who everyone needs to pay attention to this fall.   As always, make sure you check out their film down below- these guys have tons of talent and deserve more eyes!    [player_tooltip player_id='401097' first='Donavan' last='Brown'] is a talented WR out of Prattville who made some really impressive plays for his team's passing attack last fall.   Heads up to DBs across the state- you're gonna have to put in work when you line up across [player_tooltip player_id='401097' first='Donavan' last='Brown']. At 6'0 195, he has great size and speed and an elite set of hands he uses to haul in highlight reel catches all over the field. When you pair those with his route running, you get a WR who can attack multiple levels of the field for explosive plays.   I'm really impressed with Brown's skills after the catch. Brown is a huge threat with the ball in his hands- his speed, acceleration, and elusiveness allow him to quickly turn upfield and evade defenders for tons of extra yards/scoring plays.   Earlier this month, Brown picked up his first offer from North Alabama! With his skill I'm sure there will be more to come- he's a talented player with a big year ahead. Comer who has made a huge impact along their defensive front.   Brown is a dominant force on the interior who is an impact player in the trenches every down, especially against the run. Brown explodes off the line of scrimmage, has dominant strength and power, and plays with impressive leverage he uses to clog up rushing lanes and create stops for loss/little gain.   Brown is just as productive on passing downs. Despite being a DT/NG, he has an impressive motor and plays with a ton of effort, allowing him to fight off multiple OL and get to the QB. No matter what he has to do, Brown finds a way to help his defense- everyone needs to look out for him this fall.   Earlier this month, Brown picked up his first offer from North Alabama! I won't be surprised if more head his way soon, he's a huge piece of his team's defense. McConnell is an every-down threat in the trenches who can play the run and rush the passer equally well. At 6'3 240, McConnell has the size and strength to quickly collapse rushing lanes at the line of scrimmage and create stops for loss. It's really impressive seeing h   McConnell is a really talented pass rusher. He's quick off the snap, has violent hands, and can quickly disengage blockers to hurry and sack the opposing QB. With how well-rounded he is, it's hard to say that Prattville doesn't have one of the top DL units in the state- it's going to be really exciting watching them go to work this fall.   This past month, McConnell has seen his name blow up in the recruiting world, picking up offers from Dartmouth, Alabama A&M, North Alabama, and more!   Check out some of McConnell's season from last fall, he's a talented player with a big year ahead:      [player_tooltip player_id='1678560' first='Zach' last='Benedict'] is a talented passer out of Hewitt Trussville who has been incredibly reliable for his team's offense.   Benedict is an electric dual threat who constantly keeps defenses on their toes. He's a talented passer with some legit arm talent who does a great job distributing the ball around the field. He quickly finds open WRs and has the arm strength and accuracy to deliver some beautiful passes their way.   On top of his passing, Benedict has the speed and mobility to hurt defenses with his legs. He's quick on his feet, has a great sense of awareness, and escapes the pocket to do whatever he can to get the sticks moving.   Last week, Benedict picked up his first offer from Jackson State! It's going to be exciting watching him the rest of his year, he's a talented QB who surely has more offers on the way.   Check out some of his junior season down below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1678211' first='Malique' last='Franklin'] is a dominant OT out of Daphne who has put together an impressive offseason.   At 6'6 254, Franklin has the size, strength, and power to completely level opposing defensive linemen. He's a dominant force on the line of scrimmage who helps create huge plays in the run game, consistently driving back defenders several yards off the ball to open up wide rushing lanes for his teammates.   With Franklin's athleticism, he has serious potential as a pass protector. When you pair his size with his quickness, it's obvious he'll present a ton of challenges for pass rushers to overcome this fall.   A few weeks back, Franklin picked up an offer from North Alabama!
