Wednesday Wrap Up- New 2026s On Our Radar

Happy Hump Day!   We're watching some new 2026s who have crept up on our radar this week! These guys have tons of talent and are set up for huge seasons this fall.   As always, check out their tape below! We have so much talent here in the state and these guys deserve more eyes.    [player_tooltip player_id='1673481' first='LaRodney' last='McQueen'] is a dominant OT out of Carver who put together an impressive junior season last fall.   McQueen is a force in the trenches. At 6'3 285, he has great size and impressive athleticism he uses to win matchups every single down. McQueen explodes off the snap and has the leverage to drive and push back defensive linemen several yards off the line of scrimmage.   I'm seriously impressed by McQueen's pass protection. He's quick on his feet, has great strength and power, and runs on a high motor to consistently wall off pass rushers all game long.   Last week, McQueen picked up his first offer from North Alabama! I expect more will head his way soon, he's got a ton of talent and potential that shouldn't go unnoticed.   McQueen has some impressive tape from last season you can watch below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1673516' first='Kodell' last='Sharp'] is another talented prospect out of Carver who has been terrific on both sides of the ball at LB and QB.   As a QB, Sharp can stretch the field with his arm strength and has the confidence to make some really difficult throws under pressure. I'm really impressed by his deep passing- he leads his receivers really well downfield, hitting them in stride for huge gains.   Defensively, Sharp can line up on and off the line of scrimmage. He plays with a ton of speed and instincts and is almost always near the ball to make plays. Sharp's pursuit skills really stood out to me- he has great closing speed and is a high-effort defender who will cover tons of ground to create stops.   Sharp picked up his first offer from North Alabama last week, and with what he can do on both sides of the ball, more teams will be calling soon.   Sharp has some really impressive tape from last season you can watch below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1673485' first='Wesley' last='Sandefur'] is a talented OL prospect out of Fairhope who has made a massive impact upfront for his offense.   Sandefur is a dominant C who has opened up so much of Fairhope's offense. Sandefur is a mauler in his team's run game, he uses his power and quickness to create huge lanes at the line of scrimmage and beyond.   Sandefur is just as good on passing downs. He's quick on his feet, can counter rushers, and has the strength and base to completely eliminate interior pressure.   Last week, Sandefur picked up his first offer from North Alabama! It'll be exciting watching his name continue to get out there, he's got a ton of talent and deserves more eyes.   Sandefur put together some impressive junior tape last fall- take a look below:      [player_tooltip player_id='1673493' first='Kymani' last='Clary'] is a talented QB out of Wetumpka who opened up a ton of his team's passing attack last fall.   Right off the bat, it's clear that Clary can put the ball anywhere he wants on the field. He has great arm strength, impressive accuracy, and is really smart- all of which help him read and hit his targets all over the field. I'm seriously impressed with his deep ball- he can throw some beautiful lob passes over the tops of defenses for huge plays.   Clary also has the speed and mobility to create big plays on the ground. He's quick on his feet, can avoid pressure, and is fast enough to outrun defenders in the open field for huge gains.   Last week, Clary picked up his first offer from North Alabama! I won't be surprised to see more head his way soon, he's a talented passer with a big season ahead of him.   Check out some of what Clary did last season below:      Tyrone Clary, another talented Clary out of Wetumpka, is a really talented DB who has strengthened their secondary a ton.   Clary is a dynamic DB who can line up and produce in a ton of different ways. He's physical at the LOS, has great ball skills, and uses his speed to fly around the field and create huge plays for his defense.   Clary impresses me most when he's lined up over the top- he's so quick to react and has elite ability to get his hands on the ball, constantly forcing PBUs and interceptions. I'm also a big fan of Clary's run support- he flies downhill to make some seriously impressive plays in pursuit, consistently eliminating big gains on the ground.   Last week, Clary announced on Twitter that he had picked up offers from North Alabama and Alabama A&M!   Clary has some great film from last season you can watch below:
