Kanuha moved the best through the individual drills despite being the tallest offensive lineman of the group. In the one-on-one period, he set well, had the best hands of the group and was able to defend speed and power moves well. He took a lot of reps at tackle but could equally be effective as an interior linemen due to his quick feet. Throughout the one-on-one period, he had the best combination of footwork and hands which won him MVP honors.

Kanuha put his name on the San Diego radar with a strong sophomore season as the starting C for Mira Mesa in the fall. He’s a high IQ blocker for his age that showed great mobility and awareness working up to the second level and clearing lanes in the run game in his sophomore tape. Makes great use of his hands at the POA and uses his eyes to find next threats as a free blocker in pass pro. Kanuha will be a player to keep an eye on in the OL group on Sunday.
