There are always athletes who go under the radar and don't necessarily get the hype of other players. Here we will take a look at individuals who earned all-conference honors last season and should play a key role for their teams this coming year..

DEFENSE

[player_tooltip player_id='1663125' first='Angelo' last='Masciocchi'] 5-9 190 26' S Issaquah

From a pure talent standpoint Masciocchi is one of the best DB's in the state for his class, projecting as a small college standout. He earned 1st team all conference honors as a junior, making 60 tackles with an INT.

[player_tooltip player_id='1350318' first='Daniel' last='Jiang Trostle'] 6-2 260 26' DL, G/C Newport

Trostle did an outstanding job on D as a junior, earning All KingCo Mountain 1st team honors. He made 30 tackles with 4 TFL's and 2 sacks for the Knights and will project as one of the better two-way lineman returning next year, while possibly playing center at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663132' first='Will' last='Maxwell'] 5-11 225 26' DE/LB Sumner

Definitely one of the more underrated kids in the state. Maxwell racked up 1st team all league honors for the state champs, finishing with 10+ sacks on the year. He could be a steal for somebody collegiately.

[player_tooltip player_id='1578010' first='Dominick' last='Rivas'] 5-8 170 26' DB/Slot Battle Ground

The very versatile Rivas had a phenomenal season on D, racking up 2nd team DB honors, while potentially projecting on offense. Look for him to play a key role as a senior, after going for close to 500 total yards and 2 TDs last year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663134' first='Cyrus' last='Batingan'] 5-10 235 26' C/LS/LB O'Dea

O'Dea features a litany of big-time prospects with Batingan being one of the more talented two-way threats on the roster. Look for him to lead on the O line and as a snapper, where he earned honorable mention all conference honors. He could contribute on D as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663137' first='Jay'Shaun' last='Banks-Hall'] 6-3 210 26' DE Rainier Beach

Banks-Hall had an impressive junior year, bringing legit size and versatility to the table. He was a 2nd team all-conference selection at DE but will likely project as more of a stand up OLB. That said as he could easily put on 20-25 pounds to his frame and continue to play up front.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663138' first='Caleb' last='McBride'] 6-1 220 26' G/DL Skyline

One of the more unknown athletes in the KingCo did a good job on both sides of the ball as a junior, racking up 2nd team all-league honors each way, in one of the state's toughest conferences. To be undersize for the position and do as well as he did speaks volumes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663139' first='Cruz' last='Nolan'] 6-0 200 26' OLB Stadium

Nolan could be in the NPSL POY conversation this coming season after making 63 tackles, with 8 TFLs and 7.5 sacks as a junior. He was a 2nd team all-league selection for a Stadium group who finished 6-4.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663140' first='Spud' last='Merritt'] 6-1 240 26' LB Prairie

The 1st team all-league D lineman was clutch most of last season for the 5-4 Prairie group. He will project as more of an OLB and could do well at a NWC school. Credit to him for getting out on the camp circuit and impressing.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663143' first='Bryce' last='Collins'] 6-2 195 26' LB Kelso

The standout pitcher and Ole Miss baseball commit can also play a little football, earning 2nd team all-conference honors at LB as a junior. He was key in Kelso's (7-3) season last year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663144' first='Elias' last='Isaacs'] 5-11 175 26' DB Sumner

I would expect a big senior year with the last name speaking for itself. Elias was a 2nd team all-conference DB and someone who was clutch late in the season, helping the Spartans to the 4A title.

[player_tooltip player_id='1663145' first='Joji' last='Floyd'] 5-10 195 26' OLB Hazen

Floyd plays out of position as an undersized G and OLB but does incredibly well regardless. As a junior he racked up 2nd team all league honors at backer for a Hazen team that went 6-3.
