As the pandemic certainly took its toll on everyone – each and every individual had to cope with something completely out of their hands, being resourceful and patient, which truly paid off.
While high school sports may be deemed low on the priority list, thousands and thousands of student/athletes need the exposure to attain a scholarship to not only continue their dream of playing football, but also receive an education that will carve out a path that will last a lifetime.
With no spring football last season and this year having no college coaches in attendance, the Class of 2022 really got the short end of this deal.
Lack of exposure has kept this class busy, attending anything and everything to make an impact, and when the month of June arrive, to be ready to impress.
There was a unique pressure put on this senior class. Transfer Portal and the NCAA granting another year of eligibility to the seniors who didn’t get the full experience ion 2020.
While the elite prospects received enough attention to gain that exposure via camps and combines – as well as 7-on-7 events – there were those who didn’t.
Prospects who needed to grab the spotlight in 26 days, and while some were fortunate, others not so much.
Today, we bring you 15 players you will need to watch this coming season, and as some have offers, others do not and are not the household names that we are used to.
