He is an interior offensive lineman who can play guard and center. At both positions, he is a nasty and tough run blocker. He explodes out of his stance and destroys defensive tackles. His ability to take his man and block him one-on-one is impressive. He also showed a good ability to move his feet and drive defenders off the ball. His ability to fire off the ball and block defenders is special. He moves extremely well and does a great job of blocking downfield or pulling and kicking out defenders. He also shows a good ability to double-team defensive linemen and then peel off the block linebackers. He is also good at pass protecting, and he shows it by moving his feet well. Knox is a good offensive tackle prospect who recently visited Stony Brook. He does a good job in his stance and fires off the ball well. He also shows good strength as he does a good job driving defenders off the ball. He also does a good job at chasing and blocking at the next level, as he can block linebackers well. He also showed a good ability to snap the ball and never seemed phased by a nose tackle. His ability to move in both run blocking and pass blocking is special. He needs to work on some of the technical parts of his game, but the talent is there to get better. He is especially lethal when he can get in the open field. If Gateway calls a screen or some downfield run play, he does a great job chasing and blocking defenders at the next level. He is an excellent center who does a good job blocking in the run game. His ability to snap the ball and off the ball is good. He does a nice job of double-team blocking defensive tackles. He also moves well. I saw him pull and kick out defenders. I also saw in his film how he blocks downfield on linebackers, and he can be a good blocker in front of screen passes.
