Jones had a really good day. He lit it up on the offensive side of the ball and then had a few good plays defensively. He’s got a long frame with long strides. Good acceleration and ball skills in tight areas. Good sideline awareness as well, and had a few toe-drag swag plays on the outside. He’s confident on the field and looks good. Someone who I think could be a late steal in recruiting.

Jones played on both sides of the ball, and with this writeup, Mykel is deemed to be a top offensive and defensive performer for championship Sunday. Jones played safety and on occasion, he lined up on the line of scrimmage to get physical on short 3rd downs. He has good change of direction movement and can explode to get to balls in the air. He got to many interceptions throughout Sunday and displayed good intelligence to be around the ball often.
