YORK | The future is bright for the Class of 2027, and that was on display in Saturday afternoon's underclassmen combine at York. Let's take a look at who walked away with awards for their performance.

We'll start with York H-Back / Tight End [player_tooltip player_id='1824661' first='TJ' last='Bratton'] (pictured above), who walked away with MVP honors for the session. We were impressed with Bratton's ability to create separation between himself and the defender, like he did during the competition period against defensive backs. He had a 28.3 inch vertical during the combine portion of the afternoon.

Speaking of the vertical jump, Allendale Fairfax defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1823176' first='Zamal' last='Ellison'] won the award for Best Vertical, registering a 40.5 jump. Checking in with the Midlands, Dutch Fork running back [player_tooltip player_id='1821111' first='Quintin' last='Wilson'] had the best Broad Jump, as he finished with a result of 118.

Fountain Inn quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='429920' first='Sam' last='Holliday'] put his strength on display, as he came up with 27 reps on the bench press earning him honors for the drill. Holliday had over 2700 yards of total offense and 25 touchdowns for the Fury in 2024, and will look to have a bigger year in 2025.

Northwestern running back [player_tooltip player_id='1603697' first='Zymier' last='Gordon-Miles'] had the fastest Pro Shuttle time with a 4.21. Gordon Miles will be one of the leaders for the Trojans in 2025 offensively, after rushing for 1,264 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2024 as Northwestern completed a 15-0 season, defeating Irmo on a walk off field goal last December.

Staying with the running backs, Silver Bluff's [player_tooltip player_id='766728' first='Drelyn' last='Brown'] had the fastest 40 time in the afternoon with a time of 4.53. Brown had a strong 2024 campaign, rushing for 1125 yards and nine touchdowns.

The top defensive linemen award went to Clover's [player_tooltip player_id='1404968' first='Jackson' last='Hill'], who had a strong showing during the combine with 17 reps on the bench press, while finishing with a time of 4.61 on the pro shuttle. Hill was a force to be reckoned with on the Blue Eagles' defensive line in 2024, registering 13 sacks and 15 tackles for loss.

Aiken linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1274484' first='Zion' last='Lewie'] walked away with the Top D-Combo Award, as he had a vertical of 26.5. South Pointe defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1819632' first='Kimari' last='Barber'] took home the Top Defensive Skill award.

The top offensive linemen was Dutch Fork's [player_tooltip player_id='1664559' first='Niran' last='Ford'], while York quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='379090' first='Ryan' last='Brochu'] was the top offensive combo on the afternoon.

South Pointe wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='513067' first='Malik' last='Ratliff'] was the top offensive skill on the day as he had 15 reps on the bench, with a time on the pro shuttle of 4.43. Ratliff was a dynamic receiver on the outside and on special teams for the Stallions, as he was a home run threat with the ball in his hands and we have no reason to believe that won't continue in 2025.

Ninety Six offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1658954' first='Will' last='Allen'] took home the Leadership Award on the day.
