In a lot of ways, he is a modern tight end that everyone is looking for. His ability to play all over the field is impressive. Last year, Scranton played him as an off-the-ball wing and as a slot receiver. At both positions, he is a devastating blocker. He can be used in a variety of blocking schemes. In one play, they ran a wham scheme, and he was a lead blocker and blocked the defensive tackle, which is an impressive block for a tight end. Then he is a weapon in the passing game. He shows good speed and can catch passes in the open field and make bigger plays out of them. I like how he shows that he is going to block and then release into the field for a route. He is also a good blocker who can move all over the field as a blocker. Then, as an edge defender, he sets the edge and keeps it contained well. He also shows good pass-rushing moves.
