Expert Analysis
Jonathan Davalos | Prep Redzone Scout
Vincenzo Mullet, the Buffalo Elite quarterback and currently ranked as the No. 3 QB in the state, delivered one of the more dynamic performances of the weekend. His ability to throw on the move stood out immediately, consistently making high level plays by rolling out to create his own throwing lanes. Mullet spins a tight spiral and has no issue driving the ball across the middle with pace, but what separated him was the touch he showed on layered throws at different levels of the field. With his mobility and arm talent working together, he’s a dangerous quarterback who can stress a defense in multiple ways.

Mullett is one of two 2029 QB’s I would invite to Elite 11. The 2029 Signal Caller, stands at 5’11” 170-Pounds, displaying a solid frame for the position. He will be suiting up for St, Mary’s-Lancaster this season, after leaving Canisius, and I expect big things from him. On tape, he displays a quick release paired with good mechanics and solid footwork. He is one of the top QB’s in our 2029 Class, and for good reason, as he displays a strong arm and accuracy on the field. Mullett is one of the more raw QB’s I would invite, but his potential and current traits, make him a must invite name.

Vincenzo was the second quarterback for the team. Buffalo Athletics swaps quarterbacks regularly, so it’s not a backup case; they trust him to lead the offense. Like Mason, the processing he showcases is impressive. His ball velocity was great, and his accuracy at all levels was impressive. Like his teammate, I see why he is ranked high in PRZ New York.

Mullett is another WNY QB making waves in New York. Mullett has a good frame and displays good size for his age and position. Standing at 5’11” 160-Pounds, I like him projection wise to reach the 200-210 Pound mark, which will help fill out his frame with a projected height of around 6’1-6’3″.
Film is limited on Mullett, leading to a hard evaluation, but playing at Canisius, and his frame and size given him some solid tools which can help him become a top QB in the State.

I haven’t come across any game film on social media from Mullett but I have seen him compete in camps. He is a solid athlete that can make acrobatic plays. A left handed QB with good delivery, Vincenzo should start the season off as Canisius’ JV QB.
