2026 Watchlist DL Check-In

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Our offseason content is in full swing and it's time to check on some of the 2026 defensive linemen that we haven't written about in a while. Here, I'm focused on the guys on our watchlist. Usually, these are guys who are transferring, haven't played much on varsity, or don't have a ton of film, but could have breakout years. His versatility makes him an excellent backup, as he's able to play both inside and outside. He's a steady pass-rusher who can provide help in the running game as well. He's not the fastest off the line, but he's hard to stop when he gets moving downhill. On film, you'll find him making tackles at the line of scrimmage and 15 yards downfield from behind. He flashes the ability to drive defenders when he's on the offensive line and he can hold up at the point of attack on the defensive side of the ball. While he hasn't yet filled out his frame, he's a strong player with a mean streak. He's a guy who doesn't get enough credit, partially due to the role he plays in Ardrey Kell's defense. We're looking to see how he continues to develop both physically and as a run-stuffer this fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
