He tackles well in space and knows how to limit big plays with his skill. Baird reads plays quickly and gets in the mix to stop opposing players. He shows confidence in man coverage, going stride for stride with receivers and causing PBUs. Baird can be used in a multitude of ways on the field, being an excellent return man as well as a receiving threat on offense. He plays a good brand of ball with the tenacity needed at the position. Baird is a name to keep on the radar heading into next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='284168' first='Jermaine' last='Santana']-Diaz | Ridge Point | 2026

Santana-Diaz has that dawg mentality from the safety position. He shows no fear in making big time stops and flies to the ball with no hesitation. Santana-Diaz plays with speed and power, looking to separate players from the ball. He is comfortable in space and will come downhill to make stops in the run game. He plays run-fits extremely well and tackles with the intentions of making opposing players know his presence. Santana-Diaz can be a ball-hawk in coverage, high pointing the ball and making impressing plays in the air. His play is contagious and the sideline to sideline speed is noticeable. Top player in the area and a guy who can go well passed his limits on the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='1650037' first='Davis' last='Kinney'] | Fort Bend Travis | 2026

Kinney shows incredible awareness on the field and always seems to be in the right spot at the right time. Alo-Perry is strong in run defense, fitting in lanes and bringing ball carriers down with power, forcing turnovers with his hits. In the secondary he roams, moving well in space and reading the field before making plays on the ball. He excels close to the line of scrimmage and can flip a games momentum with a single hit.
