Adkins is a talented off-ball linebacker with good instincts and vision to play the run. He’s got good range and takes long strides. He’s good off the edge and can create pressure and has blocked punts, but is best when he’s roaming sideline to sideline to make plays. He has strong hands and can wrap up in the open field. He ended his sophomore year with 98 total tackles, 6.5 TFLs, 1 sack, 1 pass deflected, and a forced fumble. The upside is there, and the frame is developing.

Adkins is a smaller-school stud who built upon his fairly impressive freshman season. He’s got a good nose for the football and is always near it. He’s a reliable tackling machine who doesn’t miss many. He’s strong and can make the arm tackles when he needs to, but knows how to come to balance and attack the outside hip. Through his 2 varsity seasons, he’s collected 170 tackles, 16 TFLs, 7 sacks, 2 interceptions, and 1 forced fumble.

Adkins made his presence felt right away and didn’t look back. The small school standout started every game as a freshman and quickly became a reliable piece on defense. He racked up 72 tackles, 9.5 TFLs, 6 sacks, and 2 interceptions, showing he can do it all. Whether it’s creating pressure, making plays in space, or just being around the football. He’s instinctive, productive, and already a focal point for his team. With a year like that to open his career, he won’t be flying under the radar much longer.

Adkins was making plays all over the field. He has a knack for finding the ball and making an impact behind the line of scrimmage. He also proved to be a playmaker with two defensive touchdowns, showing his ability to turn defense into offense.
