May Offer Report: San Diego Underclassmen
Letuli picked up his first offer from Cal this month. The freshman RB/LB out of Oceanside put together...
Letuli ran for 1154 yards on 200 carries with eight touchdowns for Oceanside as a sophomore and had 20 tackles with a forced fumble on defense.
He had a strong showing at the Under Armour Next Camp this spring. Letuli is a physical runner who has good body control while being hit and has some twitch. Letuli flashed quick feet at the Under Armour Camp and shows some good speed when he gets into the open field.
Letuli is a low to the ground compact runner that gets behind his pads and can gain the tough yards inside when needed and is a strong and powerful runner. He rushed for over 1,000 yards as only a sophomore and is very tough to take down in the open field with elite contact balance and short area twitch to make tacklers miss in one on one situations. He also flashes a good initial burst through the first level, vision and cutback abilities and has third level speed in the clear to score on longer plays and force poor angles from defenders. With still two years left in his prep career, he should solidify himself as one of the top prospects in the class across the greater San Diego area over the next two seasons.
Letuli ran for 1154 yards with eight touchdowns for Oceanside last season as a sophomore.
He improved his speed quite a bit between his freshman and sophomore seasons. Letuli is a patient runner who reads his blocks well and has some burst once he gets past the first level. He earned First Team All-League honors and could be one of the top two-way players in San Diego next season.
Letuli picked up his first offer from Cal this month. The freshman RB/LB out of Oceanside put together a breakout season in the fall rushing for 600 yards and 5 TDs on 77 carries. He’s an agile athlete that runs with great contact balance and patience behind his blocks. Letuli’s recruitment is picking up momentum coming into the summer.
All glory to god, after a great talk with @Coach_Sooto I am so blessed and thankful to announce my first offer to cal Berkley
