Here we will breakdown some of Washington's top 2026 athletes who have the potential of blowing up on the recruiting front in the coming months. Most of these individuals do not hold division 1 offers as of right now but do or could project at that level. Have a look..

[player_tooltip player_id='1568782' first='Adel' last='Dorr'] 6-5 250 DE Issaquah

We talked about Dorr at length a few months back and since then he has added offers from Montana and Nevada. Look for the 1st team all-conference EDGE to potentially be a double digit D1 offer guy.

[player_tooltip player_id='1582216' first='Cade' last='Boehl'] 6-4 185 DB Eastside Catholic

Boehl's combination of size and speed is unique for someone playing CB. He could be incredibly valuable to any D1 program looking for a DB who can body bigger receivers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1589190' first='Garrett' last='Miller'] 6-4 225 LB Mead

The 1st team all-state, GSL Defensive POY will hold multiple D1 offers before he's done. At 6-4 Miller's ability to maneuver speaks to his potential. Spokane is a football hotbed heading into next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1589203' first='Cooper' last='Daines'] 6-5 250 DE Mead

Daines and his POY teammate Miller give Mead a D1 projected combo to lead the defense next year. As of right now I would consider him one of the more underrated players in the NW, considering his dominance at 6-5 while coming off the edge.

[player_tooltip player_id='1589207' first='Jacobe' last='McClelland'] 5-11 160 CB Gonzaga Prep

Hands down one of the top DB's in the region with the tape speaking for itself. The 1st team all-state CB will have options at the D1 level. He continues to impress on the 7v7 circuit.

[player_tooltip player_id='1589232' first='Jake' last='Young'] 6-3 180 DB Central Valley

Young is a big physical corner who could fly up the rankings board with a good off season. He earned 1st team all GSL honors as a junior, and there will be a lot of eyes on the kids out of Spokane as it's a special group.

[player_tooltip player_id='1589204' first='Skyler' last='Harty'] 6-3 225 DE Central Valley

Harty projects as one of the state's top D lineman next season and one of the best to come out of the GSL in the last 1/2 decade. He was a 1st team all-conference selection as a junior, and 2nd team as a sophomore.

[player_tooltip player_id='1544388' first='Shaun' last='Griffith'] 6-3 240 DE/OLB Sumner

Griffith was one of only four juniors in Washington to earn 1st team all-state honors at the 4A level. He was a big reason the Spartans won the state title, and he will compete for POY honors with the state's #1 recruit [player_tooltip player_id='402789' first='Derek' last='Colman-Brusa'] next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1530869' first='Hunter' last='Hixson'] 6-1 210 LB Skyline

Hixson quietly had one of the best seasons of any LB in WA this past season. He earned 2nd team all-conference honors, finishing with 102 tackles and 2 sacks. Expect him to be in the conversation for KingCo Defensive POY accolades next year while possibly projecting at the FCS level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1041746' first='Luca' last='Moore'] 6-0 180 DB Anacortes

One of the fastest rising stocks of any player in the 2026 class. Moore has recently added offers from Idaho and New Mexico while thriving as part of FSP. On the year he made 36 tackles, with 5 TFL's, 3 INTs, and 5 TD's offensively. Very few athletes possess his overall athleticism.

[player_tooltip player_id='1165406' first='Matthew' last='Chepurchenko'] 6-3 185 Safety Decatur

Look for Chepurchenko to make a big jump up the PRZ rankings board when updated. The 2x NPSL selection at DB & WR has legit size and will provide universities with options positionally.
