A towering prospect for the Gobblers, Parker Fulton Parker Fulton 6'2" | 215 lbs | RB/LB Aitkin | 2027 State MN has been a spectacular two-way threat at RB and MLB. Leading their potent run-game, Fulton finished with 1058 rushing yards (7.6 YPC) and 19 TDs on the ground last season. While MLB has proven to be Fulton’s preferred position, Fulton has been spectacular on the run, translating his big-hit power on defense well on offense. Trying to slow down Fulton is like trying to stop a train, knocking defenders back trying to take him head-on, and also maintaining his balance slipping out of the hands of defenders trying to tackle toward his hips and his legs. Fulton is a premium prospect built by raw strength, and he’s been a warrior on both sides of the ball so far for the Gobblers.

If you haven’t been paying attention, the Aitkin Gobblers have been putting out some serious multi-sport talents as of late, and their latest installment may be the Gobblers‘ scariest product yet. Coming in somewhere around 6’3, 220 lbs. Fulton is a devastating sight to see on both the gridiron and hockey rink, and boy does he know how to produce. This past fall on the gridiron, Fulton totaled 108 tackles, 2 INTs, and a fumble recovery as well as 143 rushes for 1,085 yards and 19 TDs on a tremendous 7.59 YPC average while leading Aitkin to its second nine-win season in school history. He kept the momentum going into the hockey season with his Northern Lakes co-op, consisting of players from Pequot Lakes, Crosby, Aitkin, and Pine River-Backus, coming in at second on the team in points with a ridiculous 40 point, 21 goal, 19 assist junior hockey season that still ongoing, as Northern Lakes beat Sartell 3-2 in the Section 6A Championship in St. Cloud last night, qualifying for the MN state hockey tournament!
On the gridiron, Fulton is laterally agile and is easily able to slide and scrape across the LOS for a towering ILB, and the 220ish lber. can beat blocking attempts with either quickness or power, and he rarely finds himself tied up around the box and LOS. Fulton also displays impressive closing speed for his size, and I’d hate to be on the receiving end of a collision with the Aitkin linebacker off a full head of steam. Plus, he’s a twitchy, fluid gas stove of a ball carrier who sends would-be tacklers bouncing off him like bowling pins and displays some scary home run speed for his size. Sitting just outside the Top 100, Fulton can easily shoot himself into the upper echelons of the state’s rankings depending on how the summer camp circuit goes.

Aitkin High School going back to back with power backs, including an uptick in the size department, as the Gobblers go from Jacob Williams (2025, 5’11, 220) to Parker Fulton Parker Fulton 6'2" | 215 lbs | RB/LB Aitkin | 2027 State MN (2027, 6’3, 220) in a huge display of physical presence from a prep program’s RB room. Fulton, a massive, overpowering F150 on the gridiron, brought home a boatload of hardware thanks to his 2025 junior campaign that saw him tally 140 carries for 1,085 yards and 19 TDs + 108 tackles and 2 INTs. Fulton earned Team MVP, District Defensive MVP, Team Defensive MVP, Team Offensive MVP, All-Area First Team, and All-District honors, as well as a nod as a captain of Aitkin’s hockey team, while displaying a skillset of power, speed, and quickness at a devastating 6’3, 225 pounds.
Donning the black and red of Aitkin, Fulton looks like a terrifying mass of muscle staring across from opposing QBs in the middle of the defense, and he demonstrates quick, balanced lateral agility and quickness for a prep off-ball linebacker of his size, as well as the ability to dominate at the contact point and consistently win in 1v1 situations between the tackles and in space. With his flexible, noticeably low pad level at 6’3+, Fulton does an excellent job of reading his keys, scraping flat down the LOS, and taking good angles to the football before loading up his hips and exploding through contact, whether that’s on ball carriers or iOL. He also displays a keen ability and instinct to step in front of crossers and pick off passes in his zone drops around the hook/curls. Plus, as a massive ball carrier, he shows off great vision, noticeable acceleration and get-up for a RB of his size, and can pinball attempted tacklers off his shoulder pads like he’s playing against middle schoolers. Fulton can step through tackle attempts at his lower body like he’s stepping through some overgrown underbrush, and his strength and power are obvious in how little momentum he loses when working through contact. I LOVE watching this kid play football, hope to see him on the offseason circuit sometime soon.

A sophomore Outstater I’m very bullish on right now, Aitkin Gobbler Parker Fulton Parker Fulton 6'2" | 215 lbs | RB/LB Aitkin | 2027 State MN is a kid who I could see gaining some steam on the recruiting trail. A multi-sporter who also plays hockey for Aitkin, Fulton only played six games in 2024 due to a minor injury that he has since fully healed from but managed to post 70 carries for 305 yards and 4 TDs, and 8 catches for 56 yards + 42 tackles and an interception on defense. I like how he moves, his top-end speed, dynamic two-way ability, and noticeably imposing size on tape that hopefully measures out at around 6’2-6’3-215 pounds. Fulton opens his tape with a devastating lead block that sent a LB flying out of the play like a war movie, as well as some real-deal shake as a ball carrier, with light feet and effective cuts that get tacklers reaching and off-balance. Fulton possesses exciting acceleration for a bigger back of his size and comes into contact full throttle, creating havoc at the contact point and bringing the pain and the thump to the defender. He sent DL and LBs flying off their feet and onto the ground like three people just ran into them, and he struck an intimidating presence as a ball carrier, as I saw a couple of defenders on tape make business decisions and cop out of tackles in the open field. As a linebacker, the Aitkin product can gain depth in his drops and is an instinctive pass defender who does a good job of reading crossers and receiver’s attacking the seam, attacks blockers as a LB and can put bigger interior onto their butts inside the box, takes good angles to the football, and closes with pace with noticeable pop as a tackler. I’m itching to see this dude live and in person ASAP.
