An edge rusher prospect on the rise, Rion continues to impress after blowing up on the scene last year. With elite size at 6’5″, an 82″ wingspan, and a lean frame that will fill out with rocked up muscle when he gets to a college weight room…Rion checks the boxes. More and more colleges are starting to take notice as well, as he has racked double digit P4 offers from some of the top schools in the nation.
Rion is a multi-sport kid, playing basketball and lacrosse as well. That athleticism shows on the football field as he is able to play out in space, and hold the edge as a rusher. He’s got excellent burst and speed with a recorded 4.65 40. When he fires of the snap it is hard for OTs to keep him in-front as he is by them in just a few steps. With another strong spring/summer Rion could be challenging the top 2 edge rushers for their ranking.

brings explosive edge presence to the defensive front, firing off the ball with the burst. The junior consistently wins with first-step quickness and a flexible frame that allows him to flatten his rush path and get to the quarterback in a hurry. Beyond his pass-rush ability, Jackson shows outstanding ball awareness, routinely disrupting passing lanes with timely swats and even turning defense into offense with a pick-six this season.
Jackson put together one a complete defensive stat line this year, recording 13 sacks, 25 quarterback hurries, 62 total tackles, and six pass deflections. With his combination of motor, technique, and production off the edge, Jackson is emerging as one of the state’s premier defensive playmakers in the 2026 class.

The final of four edge prospects to make the overall top 10 in the rankings, Rion is another sleeper gem prospect that is heating up. Picking up five offers just in the month of February, four of which where from Power 4 schools, Rion is a name to know going into this spring/summer.
Measuring in at a verified 6’5″ and 215lbs with a frame to hold 240 easily, Rion has the size length and frame that makes him an ideal top recruit. A nice overall athlete, playing basketball and lacrosse as well. Those multi-sport skills show on film as he is a strong runner, able to close on the ball quickly and shows a good motor. Rion had fluid oily hips, able hold the edge, play in space and even drop in coverage. A physical player, Rion flies to ball and strikes. He will hit you and let you know about it. Displays quick & active hands and shows some nice range of pass rush moves. He can flash a fast out & in, can swim the OT, and able to stack and shed.
Rion is a player poised for a huge spring/summer. He progressed more and more as the season went and has a lot of room to develop making him a very intriguing prospect that could be fighting for a top 5 spot come next rankings.
