One of the highest ceilings in the Class comes to us from one of our biggest risers. Eli checks in at a prototypical 6’4″ 215 lbs, looking the part of a D1 recruit. The incoming sophomore spent his freshman season as a starting LB on varsity where he made noticeable improvements through his highlights. Eli flashed an ability to quickly run through gaps and could chase down plays outside the tackles. We also see glimpses of his ability to shed blocks and still make tackles with a couple yards of the line of scrimmage. Eli was just starting to scratch the surface last season. Be on the lookout for what he looks like early in his sophomore season.
