Cole showed off his upside in his sophomore tape as a linebacker that has good short area vision to the point of attack. He musters a solid amount of physicality with his tackling ability and I can surely see he is still scratching the surface of generating more power when he gets downhill to the ball carrier. He also shows off good swiftness getting his hands off blocks and with his length, creating sound pursuit angles to the ball carrier. He’s one that I hope to see what his junior tape turned into with his developement.

Cole shows up as a linebacker that from a vision perspective, has solid eyes to identify the ball carrier. He shows off the flexibility to play at multiple spots at linebacker and shows off similar effectiveness as a run stopper from any spot. He shows off as good off his sheds and there is upside to make his process thru sheds even more fluid as there is persistent effectiveness when Cole comes downhill. Couldn’t find measurables at the moment, but the persistence Cole has on tape could move up by next update.
