Gaines made a splash his freshman season as the starter at quarterback under center for Waller. He passed for 1,990 and 18 touchdowns, showing a versatile skill set that balances the passing game and his ability to make plays with his feet. Gaines has good touch on his deep ball, he has the arm talent to make every throw on the route tree and he completed passes at a 60% rate. He is an elusive runner, who is quick in space and he can make throws on the run outside the pocket. He had a great camp at the Under Armour event in Dallas and is on the radar of college programs. He has offers from SMU, UTSA and TCU. Keep an eye on this rising sophomore to be.

Tabor runs with power between the tackles, he has the burst and quickness to create separation at the second level and make a house call for six. At 6-foot-2 205 pounds, Tabor sheds arm tackles easily and he has the quickness to make defenders miss in space. He saw plenty of action as a freshman for Melissa last fall, rushing for 785 yards and 6 touchdowns, while averaging over 6 yards a carry. Tabor showed off his skill set at the Under Armour Camp in Dallas over the weekend, showing his agility and quickness and also his reliable hands as a pass catcher. He has seen his profile on the recruiting trail rise this offseason picking up offers from Texas A&M, San Diego State, Purdue and UTSA to name a few. Tabor is a prospect to keep an eye on in the 2028 class.

Zinglemann is one of the most intriguing prospects in the 2028 class that is about to take off this offseason heading into the fall. He passes the eye test at 6-foot-5 220 pounds, he has a lean, athletic frame combined with the arm talent to make every throw on the route tree. He has a strong arm, with good touch on his deep ball and has the athleticism to evade the rush and make plays with his feet. Zingelmann has been a standout in the past at several PRZ Texas camps as a middle schooler. Zinglemann will be coming into Coppell this fall with the opportunity to get the nod under center. He had a great showing at the UA Camp in Dallas over the weekend and as he continues to develop, Zinglemann is definitely a prospect that college programs should get eyes on. He has a huge upside.
