Even against their toughest competition of the season, Karson has been spectacular. Layering throws, making quick reads and delivering the football to all of his playmakers. On the ground, Agnew is just as dangerous. He puts a foot in the ground and makes guys miss or just turns on the jets to get the edge and get up field when things break down. While NL’s road could be challenging, there is no question their QB1 will be ready to go!

Karson had an absolutely historic day. No exaggeration, this game was one of the best performances in New Lothrop history.

Karson tied the NL school record with 7 total touchdowns. Through the air, Agnew accumulated 250 yards, and 4 touchdowns. Within those, we saw him make quick reads, get the ball out quickly and lead his receivers to the end zone.

On the ground, Agnew had wiggle. He was able to make guys miss and used his speed to get the edge and scoot to the end zone. Super impressive day from Agnew, who has his team looking like a strong contender for a run to Ford Field.

New Lothrop has a major challenge right off the bat against Muskegon Catholic Central, and Karson Agnew Karson Agnew 5'11" | 170 lbs | QB New Lothrop | 2028 State MI will be a massive piece of the puzzle. Agnew brings a ton of electricity to the offense, being a spark plug on the ground and tearing it up through the air. He has continued to evolve and sharpen his skills as a passer, making him one of the most dangerous quarterbacks in the small school divisions. Whether it be through the air or on the ground this week, Karson will be an x-factor.

I always think of New Lothrop as a run-first team, but Karson and his deep ball ability brings a whole new aspect to this offense. His tape starts off with some really high level throws. Drops in a basket from deep, over the shoulder throws that lead his guy into the end zone, and throwing it where only his receiver can make a play on it. His mechanics are maybe a little unorthodox, but it is consistent, which is what really matters. When the play breaks down, he can take off and really do some damage with chunk plays. I really love his tape and I have to believe he could be a real problem in 2026. Hopefully I can check him out at a camp or 2 this spring!
