Jackson was able to be incredibly productive in the Armada offense in 2024. Malburg was is a strong running back who possesses great vision and blazing breakout speed. He keeps his legs churning and finishes all of his runs. When he gets in the open space, he can outrun a tacklers angle and take it the distance. When I got the chance to see him in the playoffs last season, he took some tough shots and continued to play with the same energy, even as the game started to go the other way. He has the potential to elevate the Armada offense to another level this fall.

Jackson was an incredibly productive player for Armada this season. I’m especially impressed with his consistently good vision and patience in the open field. Even though he isn’t an elite athlete, Jackson is still able to manipulate defenders, run through arm tackles, and find ways to turn an ordinary play into an explosive play. Moments of good contact balance sprinkled in there, too.

Finally, I feel Jackson is an NAIA or D3 prospect. It’s incredibly difficult to be recruited as a running back, and I frankly don’t think Jackson is athletic enough or strong enough to be D2. I hope I’m wrong- and I could be wrong, but that’s where I’m at right now. I hope Jackson is able to perform well at camps this spring!
