Will Helms | Prep Redzone Scout
A two-way player for North Wake, I like Parry-Smarra best as a shifty slot receiver, a role he only plays sparingly for the Saints. More often, he’s asked to contribute as an H-back and lead blocker in a run-heavy scheme. But, he’s shown some wiggle after the catch and I think he could play an expanded role in college, given his speed, quickness, and overall athletic profile.

Parry-Smarra is a two-way receiver and defensive back for North Wake. I like him best as a defensive back, where his instincts and change-of-direction works the best. He makes instinctive breaks on the football and he’s physical for his size. A sure tackler, I really like his upside at corner, though I’d love to see him get some run as a gadget guy on offense to take advantage of his speed and athleticism.

Smarra is fearless in both coverage and against the run, willing to be physical with much bigger opponents. He’s a sure tackler who makes quick breaks on the ball when it’s in the air or when running backs break to the outside. I’m intrigued to see how he grows technically as a corner this offseason.
