About Scott

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Scott is a 6'2" 195lb Cornerback/Safety that has formerly played OLB who plays CB with a LB mentality. He's a physical CB and very instrumental in the run game. Scott has a laser verified 40-yard dash time of 4.58. He can bench 275-lbs, squats 435-lbs, and has a vertical jump of 37". He has over 100 tackles, 8 PBUs, 2 INTs. He's a true student of the game and a leader of the 2024 state champs.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Off the field Scott is ALL-STATE Academic, volunteers at multiple elementary schools and football camps for younger players. He has a laid back personality but on the field, he's fighting for every blade of grass to keep the offense from moving forward. Scott is a true student of the game by how he looks at film, write notes, discusses what he's seeing on field with coaches and teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Scott has run track for club teams and his school for 6 years. The awards Scott has received are Academic All-State his senior year and Academic All-District his Junior and Senior years.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

He was on the football leadership council team all four years of high school. He received the HONOR award from the football team. The HONOR award(its not about me its about us) is an award that shows team sacrifice. He has volunteered to work with elementary kids and to work with youth kids at football camps

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Scott faced the challenge of playing 7 different positions on his High School team over from 2021-2024. His HS football journey was Wide Receiver, Tight End, Defensive End, Will Linebacker, Joker Linebacker, Safety, back to Joker Linebacker, back to Will Linebacker, back to Joker Linebacker, to finally Cornerback 3 games into his Senior Season. He ended up being All-Central Texas Cornerback.

What type of college are you looking for?

He is looking for a college that has a strong academic reputation. Examples are IVY leagues colleges and strong academic schools. Scott's quote is he "is looking for a school that will impact me for the next 40 years not just the next 4 years."
