High school football players from every corner of Louisiana — and even dipping into Texas — visited Baton Rouge on Saturday to participate in the Prep Redzone Louisiana Stock Up Showcase.

The network's first-ever Louisiana-based event, held at the new Elite Training Academy near LSU, featured standout performances from every position group and every high school class.

Here's a look at a few of the top eye-catchers among the wide receivers.

*Note: Prep Redzone national administrators are still in the process of reviewing combine testing numbers, so not all are available yet.

Rylan Delaune — 5-5, 115 WR — St. Amant (2028)

The smallest player at the event ended up near the top of the pecking order of top performances among the wide receivers. Delaune was quick and crafty in his route-running to create separation time and time again and hauled in any throw near his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='1250291' first='Alex' last='Fontenot'] — 6-2, 180 WR — Alexandria (2027)

The Trojans' sophomore standout, the biggest receiver at the event, tested well with 40-yard dashes in the 4.5-second range and broad jumps beyond 9 feet that displayed his flexibility and explosiveness. That athleticism helped Fontenot consistently gain early advantages in his route-running during one-on-ones with great releases.

[player_tooltip player_id='1602865' first='Jaden' last='Johnson'] — 5-6, 125 WR — Minden (2028)

Like Delaune, Johnson is another smaller, freshman receiver who came out fearless and put on a show much of the event with his sharp route-running. Johnson attacked defensive backs all day, cut free and then often flashed good long speed to pull away deep.

Dwayne Long — 5-10, 155 WR — Hamshire Fennett (Beaumont, Texas) (2028)

The third 2028 prospect on the list, Long had good size for a freshman and had a couple of the bigger highlight reps in one-on-ones as he used his body and head fakes well to shake defenders late in competitive routes and get loose for deep catches.

[player_tooltip player_id='1581315' first='Lawson' last='Dixon'] — 5-11, 180 WR — University Lab (2026)

The rising senior was yet another standout from right down the road at U-High, which clearly headlined the day's performances from a school standpoint. Dixon is a quick receiver with strong hands who ran some of the top shuttles at the event, which showed up in his route-running, and immediately secured even the hardest-thrown passes with ease.

[player_tooltip player_id='1581307' first='Asante' last='Williams'] — 5-11, 180 WR — Liberty Magnet (2025)

The graduating senior from Baton Rouge earned top wide receiver honors with a well-rounded performance overall from solid testing, highlighted by his broad jumps past 9 feet, to a particularly standout showing in one-on-ones. Williams is a solidly built athlete who was strong enough to battle through even the most physical coverage, tracked the ball well and reliably made even tougher catches over the shoulder, through contact or in tight quarters in the back of the end zone.
