With much of the event's groundwork already laid, it is time to discuss who-I-saw-do-what while at the Northeast Middle School Camp. Below are personal scouting notes from the action I witnessed.

Scout's Notes: Running Backs

First up today is running back [player_tooltip player_id='1591123' first='Benji' last='King']. At moments King seemed to act and perform like we were all in his castle. King was exceptional at gauging a pursuing linebacker's speed, often forcing them to overcommit.... Mahki Hinton is a prospect that I am glad graduates in 2031, as he as must time to work on his craft as a 6th grade prospect. Hinton performed well in drills and seemed to understand what to do and how to do it. Physically, as he matures, develops, and does more drills asked of by his position ground, Hinton's slight of feet of will improve along with it.

If there was one rusher who I thought was most ready to step on a varsity field it was [player_tooltip player_id='1514922' first='Amar'e' last='Gordon']. Gordon was highly elusive and shifty. For whatever reason, it seems as though he had a very good idea of how to put defenders in a blender when the were both squared up. Further, Gordon was aggressive when running down hill... [player_tooltip player_id='1476972' first='Lucas' last='Giocoli'] was one of only a handful of 7th grade prospects who graduate in 2031 to come out and compete. I thought that Giocoli had decent feet for someone his age. If he projects out, this ought to help him make cuts and win the race to his spot as he continues to develop.
