is an interesting player who stood out while doing evaluations for the class. Tyler showed that he can not only make plays on offense and defense, but also be a versatile player who can be used in several ways. Tyler ended his sophomore season with 40 receptions, 408 receiving yards, 110 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns, and 42 tackles. My biggest takeaway from watching Tyler’s sophomore tape is that he has overlooked his speed and burst, which make him a home-run threat with the ball in his hands. Thorell’s shifty change of direction, quick feet, and great vision help him identify open lanes and smoothly weave through traffic. Thorell projects best as a receiver, where he displays strong hands to make tough catches and solid route-running ability to create separation from defenders. He’s also a proven ace in the return game with two kicks returned for touchdowns. Defensively, Tyler shows no hesitation to get his hands dirty and jump right into the mix, whether it be challenging passes at the catch point or stepping up to make a tackle against a RB. Lots to like about Tyler, and he’s only scratching the surface!
