We’ll make the quick drive up Highway 30 to check out GI Northwest’s Aidan DeNeui Aidan DeNeui 6'5" | 260 lbs | OL Northwest | 2027 State NE , who is an impressive-looking prospect with the tape to back the tangible traits. Aidan is a taller, lengthier offensive tackle at 6’5″ and 260 pounds with room to continue filling out his frame. When watching Aidan’s tape, the biggest thing that stood out to me was his hand usage, showing he can counter pass-rush moves and work his hands inside to gain leverage. Once he’s won the inside-leverage battle, Aidan is constantly looking to finish the block on the dirt for a pancake, or he’ll drop them to the ground and continue looking for more blocks to pick up downfield. For being 6’5″, Aidan displays good hip bend and was pretty consistent with his pad level. Strong base allows him to anchor down when he gets to the spot and does a good job of stonewalling defenders at the point of contact. Very balanced as a run blocker and pass protector with still a ton of untapped potential. Aidan did play some on the defensive line, but it seems like the OL will be where he fares best, either at tackle or inside at guard. Definitely a guy who can boost your OL group at the next level!
