He is ranked among the best gunslingers in the country and ranks No. 4, which seems a bit low due to his athletic ability. Battiste III is one of the better players when it comes to size, coming in at 6’2 and 210 pounds, but he is also going to grow as he continues to get older. He ranks No. 33 in the entire state and is worth keeping an eye on.

- As of December 2024, his eighth-grade year, Battiste III is listed at 6-foot-2 and 195-pounds and certainly looks to be every inch and every pound of that size
- The way that football and the Quarterback position are starting to evolve, if you play the position you better be able to throw and run the ball–he checks both boxes. From the bare eye he looks like a high school kid the way he’s built and plays the position. He can use his right arm to launch the ball a mile, he can outrun your Linebacker to the corner, and he can dip a shoulder and make your Defensive Backs make a business decision. I love this kid on film.
