Continue ReadingToday to start the week we present to you some of the top senior receivers to watch out for this season. These prospects have raised their way up to our rankings and we are doing an evaluation on the ones you may or may not know about. You will undoubtedly hear these names quite often if you are a football fan or coach. All of these receivers are top-notch and deserved the spotlight, so let’s take a look at who made the list.
TJ Johnson TJ Johnson 6'3" | 175 lbs | WR Alexandria | 2022 State LA | 6’3″ 175 lbs | WR | Alexandria | 2022
TJ is an elite outside receiver who will be one special player to watch this season. His recruitment has just begun to take off. He has received offers this year from Florida State, Mississippi State, and the University of Virginia. TJ is a tall receiver with a big frame. I think if counties add mass to his tall lengthy frame, he will be a beast at the next level. Route running and feet at the LOS need a bit of work but this will be a special receiver to watch this year who we think will absolutely take off and end up with a bunch of offers this year.
Zyion Claville Zyion Claville 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR Huntington | 2022 State LA | 6’3″ 180 lbs | WR | Huntington | 2022
2020 Claville had 414 yards receiving, on 22 catches, and scored 5 touchdowns in only 6 games. This coming up season should be fun to watch for the star wide-out. He is surely one that could raise himself up to our rankings with good play. This receiver is fast. So fast it’s hard for the cameraman on his film to keep up with him. He can fly by corners in a blink of an eye, catch a pass in stride and take it to the house for six points. I loved his size, speed, and route-running ability are some of the things that stood out most for me. This is a really exciting receiver to watch and one worthy of keeping your eye on this season.
Charles Robertson Charles Robertson 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR Zachary | 2022 State LA | 6’3″ 180 lbs | WR | Zachary | 2022
Robertson has a tall lengthy- athletic frame. He can go up and fight for those tough-contested passes. Shows a large catch radius with his long arms and height. I liked his speed and his ability to run crisp routes. I think he can be versatile on the field. Play tight end as well as an outside receiver and be dangerous racking up touchdown. You don’t want to miss this guy this season.

Kody Finley Kody Finley 6'5" | 195 lbs | WR Ponchatoula | 2022 State LA | 6’5″ 195 lbs | WR | Ponchatoula | 2022
Kody holds offers to Indiana, Kansas, Memphis, New Mexico, South Alabama, and Tulane. I really like this receiver. His ability to track the ball and go up and climb the latter is phenomenal. I think his route running and burst of the ball could use improvement. However, he does show breakaway speed and can give himself a lot of space between defenders running his routes. Defenders usually can’t keep up with this guy because he is a match-up problem. Either his height, speed, or both will help him dominate opponents on the field. Watch out for him this season undoubtedly a name you will hear a lot about.
Wide receiver @kody_finley is primed for a big senior season at Ponchatoula. At 6'5", 200 pounds, Finley is a standout WR in the 2022 class. pic.twitter.com/YDpupR1fa7

Nick Howard Nick Howard 6'3" | 170 lbs | WR Archbishop Rummel | 2022 State LA | 6’3″ 170 lbs | WR | Archbishop Rummel | 2022
It’s always the guys towards the bottom of the list who end up being some of my favorite. Now in no way are these prospects any less, they are just as good as the top guys on this list and the race was very close. However, Nick has to be my favorite receiver prospect in the 2022 class because of his elite route-running ability, speed, and soft hands. He shows some tremendous awareness on the field and can create separation for himself in his routes. His route running is lethal and he can cut the turf up with his cuts in and out of his routes and toe taps on the sidelines or in the end zone. Love this receiver and he is an FBS/FCS prospect with a high ceiling in college
Tristan Wiley Tristan Wiley 6'3" | 185 lbs | WR Ouachita Christian | 2022 State LA | 6’3″ 185 lbs | WR | Ouachita Christian | 2022
Tristan is an elite wide receiver and he deserves the spotlight because he is immensely talented. He is fast of the line of scrimmage, runs good crisp routes, and has excellent hands. He is a big-time receiver who can score a lot of touchdowns and get open consistently. I think he is severely under the radar but that won’t be for long. Multiple division, I schools will be interested in this talented receiver and a break-out senior season is on the horizon.
