found ways to make plays for Cottonwood just about any way he could—he was extremely productive as a passer, a rusher, and on defense throughout his dominant senior season last fall. Morris is a really talented passer who can make plays with his legs as well- he’s extremely mobile, can break sacks/tackles, and has open-field speed that completely separates himself from defenses. As a passer Morris does a great job not putting the ball in harm’s way, he patiently scans the field and will place the ball exactly where his WRs need him to. On defense, Morris made a ton of plays in the backfield- it’s hard for offensive lines’ to contain him with how fast he is, and once he gets going downfield, he’s a really reliable tackler that can stop any ballcarrier. Morris ended his senior season with some wild numbers- completing 77/115 passing attempts for 1585 yards and 14 touchdowns, racking up 147 carries for 1009 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground, and 41 total tackles (11 for loss) and 3 sacks on defense. Coaches- you’ve got to watch Morris’ tape- he’s one of the more uniquely talented prospects I’ve seen in a while and is well worth the watch!
