Vargas has been used as a two-way player this year, and he’s done well when given the oppurtuity as a running back. He shows good contact balance, can get through the first level and does a good job of picking up the tough yards. Defensively, he’s one of, if not the best, players on that side of the ball for Taylrosville and is best as an on-ball backer. He does a good job of pressing forward, avoiding being bogged down by traffic, and does well at pursuing the ball carrier and creating pressure while limiting big plays. If they use him more as a runner on offense and can build momentum and shorten the game, and if he can make plays on defense, it will go a long way in making this a close game in the second half.
