Recruiting/Player Profile: Cade Conzemius/Minnetonka (2022)
<span class="mceItemHidden">With this <span class="hiddenSpellError">Northstar</span> Football News recruiting profile, we head to Minnetonka to chat with 2022 NFN prospect, <strong>Cade Conzemius </strong>who plays wide receiver for the Skippers. We chatted with Cade about his sophomore season, his college interest, and much more.</span>

<strong>Get to Know Cade Conzemius</strong>
Conzemius just wrapped up his sophomore year for the Skippers and is looking to improve as he goes into his junior and senior years. He's a hard worker and has a massive passion for the game of football. His biggest strength as a receiver is his route running ability and getting yards after the catch. He told Northstar Football News, "if you give me a route, I will get open" as he had 7 touchdowns and 415 yards receiving in his sophomore campaign for the Skippers.
<strong>Best Parts About Wide Receiver</strong>
Conzemius told Northstar Football News that his favorite part about the receiver position is working hard in drills to improve his stock at the position. He is another player we've chatted with that fields a trainer from the TNT Academy, which he said he loves how every day they have a new drill for Cade to work on that really helps him at the wide receiver position.
<strong>College Interest</strong>
Cade said his "number one goal" is to play college football, like his dad <strong>Justin Conzemius </strong>who played linebacker for the Gophers back in the 1990s and known to KFAN listeners as "Fargo Flash". Cade has taken two recruiting visits to Iowa State and Minnesota and hopes the college interest continues as next year rolls around.
<strong> Improvement from the Off-Season by Conzemius</strong>
The biggest thing the Skippers coaching staff told Cade last season is to improve on his catch radius. Conzemius has worked hard in the offseason and has caught "ball after ball" to work on what his coaches asked of him. "The more balls I catch, the better my hands will be," he told Northstar Football News.
<strong>Cade's Mentors</strong>
Cade said the biggest mentors are his dad, Justin, and <strong>TJ Dean </strong>from the TNT Academy who he works with him year-round as his trainer. "My dad's always been there for me, and gives me good advice," he told NFN about his first mentor. He credits Dean as being the biggest reason that he can run the routes he can as well at this early point in his high school football career. Dean also is his 7on7 coach for the winter league starting in December.
<strong>Biggest Things Cade </strong><strong>Learned About Himself This Season</strong>
The biggest thing Conzemius learned about himself as a player this season was the potential he has to grow even further. He knows he needs to continue to work hard to reach his full potential. He wants to work to get faster and stronger and he feels he can be a great player as long as he keeps grinding.
