In a linebacking corps that was absolutely stacked, Landon Thomas was one of the best. I thought that he got downhill in a hurry. His big frame also helped him eliminate space to the sideline and cutbacks when in cat and mouse situations. Throughout all he did, Thomas showcased outstanding balance when zeroing in on his target, also showing that he can run well. That said, I think he is a bit of a ‘tweener in terms of a true linebacker or standup edge guy. I thought that he could improve his ability to stop/start/sudden change could improve a bit; but then, at later on I wrote that he could get up and down hill well. A clearer performance or tape session regarding his agility would clear this up for me.
