Stellar Passing Attack gets BOLD a Huge Victory against Browerville-Eagle Valley

The BOLD Warriors and the Browerville-Eagle Valley Tigers met up for a chance to go to the Prep Bowl. The Tigers received the opening kickoff and drove the ball down the field with a power run game, running over 9 minutes off the clock capped off by a 1 yard plunge from RB Landon Gode for the opening score. BOLD wasted no time getting that score back, QB Jordan Sagedahl threw a 48 yard bomb to Gavin Vosika to tie the game at 7. The Warriors unleashed an impressive offensive and defensive attack to follow scoring 49 unanswered points. FB Tim Peppel pounded the rock in from 1 yard out. Sagedahl followed by hitting Vosika again from 44 yards out. Anthony Maher got in on the action catching a 12 yard pass from Sagedahl, putting the halftime score at 28-7. Jordan opened the second half by hitting Drew Sagedahl for an 8 yard pitch and catch. Jordan Sagedahl found Gavin Vosika two more times (9 yd. & 33 yd.) for two more scores. The game scoring was capped with RB David Garcia rushing for a 3-yard score, rounding out the game at 56-7.

Quarterback- Jordan Sagedahl put up video game like numbers passing the ball, hitting receivers in stride left and right.
Wide Receiver/Defensive Back- Gavin Vosika was the target for Sagedahl with 10 receptions, 232 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Wide Receiver/Defensive Back- Matthew Moorse played good defense and was also a reliable target.
Offensive/Defensive Lineman- Andrew Sheehan was finding the ballcarrier at all costs, making many tackles against a run-dominant team.
Offensive Line- Andrew Sheehan, Brady Ridler, Xavier Basaulda, Peyton Riley, & Carson Kubesh- always got to give credit to a line that gives the QB time and can make the push in short yardage running situations.
Players Highlighted from Browervile/Eagle Valley:
Running Backs- Landon & Matthew Gode- did a good job leading the run game on a run dominant team, both were super physical and showed bursts of speed.
Fullback- Cody Lisson was a good lead blocker out of the backfield and carried out fakes well.
Quarterbacks/Wide Receivers- Cory Meyer & Carter Meiners both ran the offense well under-center and out wide, one throwing to the other when they passed.
Offensive Line- Trey Lancaster, Ian Gould, Frank Couchey, Levi Line, & Noah Schnettler- in a run-first team, the line is always a good one. These guys did really well finding blocks and finishing the play.
