He lines up at outside linebacker where he is very impressive against the run, showing the ability to diagnose the play quickly then use his speed to get to the ball carrier in a hurry to make the tackle. Through his first six games, Magalong leads his team with 38 tackles along with seven tackles for loss. He has also shown the ability to rush the passer, recording a team-high six sacks so far this season. Robert has also played a role on offense this season, running the ball eight times for 89 yards. Magalong currently holds offers from Judson and Midway, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more come his way soon.

He lines up at outside linebacker where he does a great job defending the run. Magalong finds the ball carrier quickly then uses his closing speed to get to them before they can get going. He is a very reliable tackler, currently leading his team with 38 tackles and seven tackles for loss through five games. Robert has also come away with six sacks and proven to be reliable dropping into pass coverage this season. He also plays a role on offense, running the ball seven times for 72 yards so far this season. Magalong currently holds an offer from Judson and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more come his way soon.

Magalong lines up at inside linebacker where he does a great job defending the run. He reads his keys quickly the flows to the ball with a sense of urgency. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he finishes his tackles quickly before they have a chance to make a move or pick up extra yards. Robert finished his junior year with a team-leading 110 tackles along with seven tackles for loss in 10 games. He also finished the year with one sack. Magalong currently holds an offer from Judson and I expect his recruitment to continue to heat up this offseason.

He does a great job of reading his keys then exploding out of his stance to meet the ball carrier and make the tackle before they can get going. Robert also finished his junior year with one sack. Magalong will definitely be a player to watch heading into his final season.

He is very impressive against the run, showing the ability to read his keys quickly then use his speed to blow by opposing offensive linemen to get to the ball carrier and make the tackle in the open field. Robert leads his team with 84 tackles and six tackles for loss through the first seven games. Magalong doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player to keep an eye on over the next two seasons.
