Next up we go with the massive athlete out of Verona at OT. Ethan is another kid who has made huge strides but seems to be just scratching the surface on what he could be. A long OT with room to add 40+ lbs to his frame. Despite being 6’7″ Ethan has shown the consistent flexibility in his lower body to be able to drop his pad levels and gain leverage on smaller athletes. The power is already there in droves too and will become even more violent after a few years in a college weight room.

One of four current Wisconsin Badgers commits from the home state leads us off in this loaded position group. Ethan is such a talented athlete, yet is only just scratching the surface of what he could develop into at the next level. The long, lean 6’7″ 250 lbs 2027 OT brings outstanding athleticism to the blindside. Athleticism pairs with his length to make him a very capable and effective pass protector. It also allows him to always win the body positioning battle in the run game. Ethan further establishes himself as a legitimate Power 4 recruit with how flexible he is and how easily he is able to play with a very low pad level for his size. The tools and gifts have me so excited to see what he does at the next level in Madison.

Elite OT talent. Length, size, mobility, flexibility all among the best in the state. Even without having his frame filled out the big man is able to maul DL at this level. Can play with a really low pad level despite his elite frame thanks to his ankle and knee flexibility. Dominant force to set the tone in the trenches.

An athlete who is going to spend his high school career battling near the top of the OL and overall rankings is Verona’s ’27 LT. Ethan checks so many boxes of a recruit that is poised to see his recruitment explode in the coming months-year.
He has an elite frame with FBS length at 6’7″. The massive OT is just starting to fill out that frame, tipping the scales at a clean 240 lbs. With such a lean frame you hope to see strong athletic traits, and Ethan delivers there. He is quick out of his stance, can reach a DL, close quickly on an LB, or get out in the open field a run to cut off a DB in pursuit. The size and athleticism are major strengths, but don’t let that lead to you sleeping on his strength. Ethan has little trouble getting into the chest of a DL and driving them off the line of scrimmage to open up huge running lanes for his RBs. The ’27 LT is a name that needs to be circled going forward.

Ethan hit our radar last week, and we need to make sure he gets on everyone else’s radars quickly. The sophomore LT has so many natural tools that are extremely hard to find. First off, the kid is a massive 6’7″ with a long wingspan. He is still filling out that frame as he sits at about 240 lbs currently. The athletic side of his game is exceptional for his age. Ethan is light on his feet, allowing him to reach DL, attack LBs at the second level, or provide excellent blindside protection in pass protection. Ethan is able to mirror pass rushers with his quick feet and reactive athleticism, shutting down counter moves after stopping the initial rush. McIntosh also does a great job of using that elite length to control where his opponent goes. As the weeks go on we are seeing him finish blocks more and more with that nasty mentality you need to dominate in the trenches. On top of it all, the sophomore seems to have a great base of power to continue to add onto as he adds weight and muscle over the coming years. Big things are ahead for this kid. Get him on your recruiting boards today.
