Running the fastest 40 of the entire positional group, Amar’e’s efficient running mechanics helped him finish the day with a 4.84 40. Amar’e was one of the most natural runners at the camp Saturday afternoon. His fast, linear speed translated to the “on-the-field” drills, and he also maintained that same type of quickness in lateral movements as well. Amar’e was able to force multiple linebackers to whiff on the tackle. His quick stutter step caused them to hesitate for a moment, giving Amar’e the window he needed to get by with speed.

Amar’e finished the field tests at the top of the charts for all events, as he was able to achieve a 4.85 shuttle and put up an impressive 8’3″ broad jump. Amar’e is one of those explosive backs you don’t want to miss out on.

Gordon is a three sport baller with a high ceiling. He plays running back and defensive back for Olympus. What he lacks right now in size he more than makes up for in ability. This young man has homerun speed and is another hybrid ball carrier that can create easy mismatches during the game. He can run, block, and catch the ball with confidence. He’s one to keep an eye on as he hits the weight room at the next level.
