brings us back to the big-body OT prospects who have a wide, square upper body and flash the athletic tools to be really talented tackle prospects at the next level.
Jones falls into the boat of some other prospects here. He needs to show some more consistency on tape. He does not have a ton of pass-pro reps, but he does show some good athleticism, and you see him sustain blocks well on tape.
Jones has a baseball background and is one of those unique prospects who looks a lot better in person than on tape—although the tape still shows some good qualities.

Jones will need more tape, but between what he does have out and seeing him in person, he has one of the better OL builds in this class – Jones is also a standout baseball player for East.
At 6’6 315, he is in a good spot physically, there is room to maybe slim down a bit and add strength something a college weight program should do easily but when it comes to body type and looking the part Jones checks that box, more tape will be key in his recruitment.
