In particular, he is good at running deep routes and catching the ball. He is especially good at running post routes or deep balls by running past the defense. He is also good in the run game, taking jet sweeps and running the ball. Delaney is a talented player who has excellent skills for a wide receiver.

Will have to endure coaches who are skeptical of level of competition over at Mount Carmel. I do think, however, that Delaney is capable of FBS attention. Whether or not he ever meets that threshold is entirely up to him. 1,000 scrimmage yards racked up as a sophomore, 13 total TDs. Production/stats fall low on the recruiting totem poll, thankfully, Delaney shows traits that might entice FBS programs recruiting Pennsylvania. Breakaway speed, can maintain route discipline while tracking the ball downfield. Can separate against this level of competition with ease. Can score via screen or post, he provides scoring ability from anywhere on the field. An understanding of leverage displayed. Great post-catch vision, heard good things about his work ethic and coachability too. Can’t find any information about his measurables, however. This could be a red-flag to coaches inquiring.

Point guard on the court, can double as a wideout and defensive back. Is just a sophomore yet leads his league in receiving by a ridiculous margin.
